When you were born , you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so when you die, you will be smiling and everyone around you will be crying.
Tony Compolo once remarked, ” Most of us are tiptoeing thorugh life so we can reach death safely.” We should be praying ” If I should wake before I die. Life can get away from you don’t be satisfied with just pumping blood.” Or to put it another way , live your life so that when you die even the funeral director will be crying.
It’s all about how we live this life. We can live it all for ourselves, or we can be someone who cares, loves, is kind, and wants to make a difference for the better in someone else. That could be pretty much anyone, but should be your spouse, your children, your friends, your co-workers and on from there.
Then , you could be smiling when you die!
